Futur#ability® is a neologism that encapsulates a concrete vision of the future: a cultural project created to promote a more conscious, sustainable and humane approach to work and daily life.
It is not merely a concept, but a collective commitment to virtuous guidelines that can guide the choices of individuals, companies and organisations.
Futur#ability® consists of two words:

Futur#ability® at Fuorisalone: the project takes shape
As a cultural project, Futur#ability® finds in Milan’s Fuorisalone a natural space for expression and experimentation. Through installations, events and opportunities for discussion, the principles of Futur#ability® take shape, transforming into experiences that foster dialogue between people, technology, nature and human skills.
The Futur#ability® events at Fuorisalone serve as spaces where different disciplines – from design to innovation, from work to food culture – intersect, with the aim of bringing to life a vision of a sustainable, inclusive and responsible future. Each edition thus becomes an opportunity to translate the project’s values into concrete actions, collaborations and projects, involving people, companies and organisations in a shared journey of change.

Futur#ability® at Fuorisalone 2026: “Essere Progetto” bringing together technology and people
On the occasion of Fuorisalone 2026, following the theme “Essere Progetto”, Futur#ability® returns to tell an idea of innovation that is not limited to the final result, but develops as an ongoing process made of choices, responsibility and collaboration.
In an era marked by the impact of artificial intelligence, Futur#ability® places the human ability to give meaning to change at the center, imagining a future in which technology and people are not in competition but allies: AI empowers, humans guide. “Essere Progetto” thus becomes an invitation to actively design the future we want to inhabit, in balance between human beings, nature and technology, with a sustainable, conscious and human-centered vision.

“The New Prometheus FUTUR#ABILITY®”
To mark Fuorisalone 2025, Prolink presents “The New Prometheus FUTUR#ABILITY® – The design of the worker of the future”, an immersive installation that explores the relationship between people, technology and the environment, combining innovation, sustainability and design.
The experience, hosted at Opificio 31 in via Tortona 31 and conceived by architect Stefano T. Fabrizi in collaboration with Prolink, offers a vision of a new humanism, in which the worker becomes an active protagonist of a more balanced and responsible ecosystem, through conscious daily choices.

“Futur#ability®: un futuro sostenibile in un dialogo tra natura e materia” è stata un’esperienza unica sviluppata su tre giorni ricchi di seminari, workshop e attività esperienziali. a sustainable future in a dialogue between nature and matter” was a unique experience spanning three days packed with seminars, workshops and hands-on activities. During the event, we explored the concept of a sustainable and harmonious future, highlighting the importance of human skills in shaping this scenario, across every sphere from food to the world of work.
